Biography
Dr. Wiggins is an Assistant Instructional Professor in the School of Social Work at Illinois State University with over 30 years of experience working with vulnerable populations in diverse levels, programs, and settings. She is a graduate of the Education Administration Foundation Doctoral program with a concentration on Leadership Equity and Inquiry (LEI). While in the program, she was awarded a fellowship with the Diversifying Higher Education Faculty (DFI) program through the Illinois State Board of Higher Education.

Dr. Wiggins worked at Bloomington Housing Authority for over two decades as the Family Self-Sufficiency Grant Manager. Next, she worked as the Director for First Star Academy's college prep program for youth in foster care. Dr. Wiggins primary focus has been and continues to be enhancing quality of life and wellness practices for marginalized populations.

Dr. Wiggins is currently on the board for Home Sweet Home Ministries, NAACP Health
Committee, ISU School of Social Work Anti Racism Committee, and is involved in several
